Which interior and exterior windows are included?

We clean interior glass, exterior glass or both, according to the window list in your quote. Patio doors and other large panes can be included. A glass-cleaning visit does not repair failed seals, scratches or damaged window units.

What products are proposed for the surfaces?

Our cleaning method uses window-cleaning tools such as squeegees and purified water, chosen for the glass and its access. Mineral deposits and paint residue need separate assessment; the ordinary cleaning price should not be mistaken for restoration of damaged glass.

Are screens, tracks and frames included?

Screens, tracks and frames collect different debris from the glass itself. We can include these components in the agreed scope, but they should be named in the quote so you know whether the visit covers glass only or more of the window assembly.

How will upper-storey and interior glass be accessed?

Window height, gates, landscaping and furniture affect access. We plan the equipment around the selected windows and agree any indoor access with you. Tell us about windows that do not open normally before the visit so they can be assessed rather than forced.

Window cleaning in Paris: new builds, old sashes and the mess between

Paris has grown since the late 1990s, and the growth has been linked in part to commuters bound for the GTA and to the completion of Highway 403. Its 2021 population was 14,956, and growth like that puts newer homes beside old ones. New houses come with their own window problem. When the builders leave, the glass carries paint flecks, stucco and drywall dust, adhesive from labels and stickers, and a film left by the trades.

Cleaning new windows is careful work. Paint and stucco splatter is lifted with a fresh blade held flat, or with a mild cleaner and a soft pad, so the glass is not scratched. Coatings on some new glass mark easily, so we test a small corner first. Screens and tracks hold a lot of construction dust, and some frames still carry a protective film to peel off.

Older homes in town have different windows: wood sashes with putty, storms, and old glass that can be thin. We go gently on those. Prices start from $125, and the quote lists windows by floor, with screens, tracks and storms named if you want them done. For a new build, book after the last outdoor trades finish.

Usually, yes. Paint and stucco splatter can be lifted carefully, but glass with a coating or factory film needs a test first. Tell us what is on the glass and whether the windows are coated. Very heavy residue takes longer, and the quote will say so.

Should we wait until the landscaping is finished before cleaning?

If you can. Digging, sod and paving throw dust and mud back onto clean glass. Book after landscaping, paving and painting are done. If your move-in date is fixed, we can clean the inside glass first and come back for the outside once the mud has settled.

What is included in window cleaning?
